Assessment Instructions
Please ensure you read the following information regarding the assessment you are about to take.
You have chosen to complete an assessment for the following module: LCCI Level 1 Bookkeeping
You will require a calculator to complete this assessment.
Knowledge of specific module content and of the additional references given in the modules will be required to answer the following questions. Careful revision and comprehension of the subject content should be undertaken prior to taking an assessment.
All questions set out in the following assessment concentrate on testing your proof of knowledge in the associated module by focusing on the relevant learning outcomes out lined in the introduction of this module.
This is a one hour timed assessment containing 30 multiple choice questions. You will be notified of your time frame after 30 minutes and again at 10 minutes before your time is up. A timer will be visible throughout to help you manage your progress.
The test will time out when the 60 minutes is up, after which you will be ascribed either a “pass” or “refer”. A pass can count towards credits for the accredited courses and a "refer" will mean that you have not reached the required 50% pass rate and must retake the test for that module.
The questions are randomly generated and targeted at the defined learning outcomes of the associated module so no two tests will carry the same questions.
Questions will be presented in sets of 5 which you will have only one chance to review before you continue onto the following questions. This is to secure your progress in the unlikely event that your connection is lost, however the 60 minute time frame will not be paused on re entering the assessment for completion.
On completion of the assessment the paper will be scored automatically and your result will be visible. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded in the event of a pass or instructions on how to retake an assessment will be outlined in the event of a fail.
The pass mark is 50% and students can take the assessment as many times as required in order to pass, although it is recommended that in the event of a fail that a one month revision period is allowed before retaking the test.
